A large sandstone butte in a desert landscape, viewed through the window of a vehicle at sunset.

About

The Film

Character: 30-something year old male

Stakes: Deteriorating mental health

Change: The character takes a solo road trip to look inside of himself, escape the noise, and asses the value of life

Storyline: A road trip through the desert, solo, to decompress from the stresses of life.

Everything culminates into a final shot of the traveler putting the pen down, fireside, and looking to the night sky.

Run Time: 5 - 7 minutes

Style: Cinematic scripted short with voiceover

Distribution: Film festival submission in 2027, then released to socials

To the elephant in the room: Yes, I get the irony that filming this inherently is the anti to the film, however the goal is to inspire others to take that trip and reflect inwards.
