Answering The Call To Drive The Pan American Highway 

We have had this crazy idea bouncing around our brains for years and the time has come to let the dream fade into the background or accept the challenge. This is crazy, we know, but we’ve chosen to answer the call! We are going to pack up our comfortable lives here in South Lake Tahoe, CA into our converted Ram 2500 ProMaster to drive to Ushuaia, Argentina (the southern most city you can drive to in the Americas). We are nervous and excited.

Dalton - The Creative Guy

Skillset:

Creating something from nothing, espcially with a camera and words

Kristin - The Lovable One

Skillset:

Being freak’n cute and trying her hardest to take on any adventure that comes her way

The Basics:

Start: South Lake Tahoe, California
End: Ushuaia, Argentina
Number of Countries Visiting: 13
Number of Miles Driving: 30,000 (give or take a few thousand)

Timeline:

Leaving The States: November 2025
Returning To States: April 2027

Trip Milestones:

  • Leaving the US into Baja

  • Crossing Baja to Mainland Mexico

  • Climbing Volcanoes outside of Mexico City

  • Crossing The Darian Gap

  • Exploring the Cordillera de Blancas

  • Arriving in Ushuaia

  • Cruising To Antarctica

  • Filming Wildlife in Costa Rica

  • Surfing Central America

Now, Why Would We Do This?

Goals:

  • Do something that scares the hell out of us before we “settle down”

  • Learn how to find and tell untold stories while linving on the road

  • Become fluent in Spanish

  • Try not to kill each other while living in 72 square feet for 18 months
