The Maverick’s wave is one of raw beauty. It bowl tosses a thick slab of water into the air, after which it crashes down upon the ocean with a thunderous boom. This boom is similar to that of a jet taking off. The roar can be heard from a great distance and the vibration through your body understands this spot demands respect. While this may sound scary, the beauty of this offshore wave attracts surfs and viewers of all kinds. This green monster has my heart and when I look into her eye, I find myself melting.
