Staring Into The Yellow Eyes of a Short Eared Owl
By no means do I consider myself a wildlife photographer, but, yesterday, I had the chance to "chase" this owl around for about an hour.
Zipping past the bird on a fence post, I said to Kristin, "hey look, an owl."
"Wait, where? I didn't see it." She responded in disappointment.
So, I flipped the van around and checked out the owl.
Beach Camping in Baja, Mexico for Ford
We had been in Baja, Mexico surfing and camping on the beach for the 9 days creating content for the Ford Bronco ambassador hype video. However, this morning was a bit different. We had no plans. As a group, we had been photographing and recording video every day for the bulk of each day in hopes of creating the best content we possibly could. But, we had some down days.
How Much Would You Risk?
In a split second while you are walking down the street, the cartoon lightbulb flashes on. Your mind and heart eagerly agree that the idea is perfect, the timing is right, and you should do it. So, you sit down, take out your notebook, and jot down the idea so clear you see straight to the bottom. Looking up from your notebook you notice the sun has faded into the night sky. Can I really do this? The argument begins.
Learning to See
My childhood dreams were simple; see the world and become a writer. Today, becoming a writer is easy, just self-publish from your laptop to your website using the free wifi at the local library… hair-flip, checkmark. However, seeing the world requires me to actually get my rear-end off the couch.
